Where do your tours start?
Our tours start in various locations. Details are outlined on the website page of the tour you are booking.
Is there walking involved?
Yes! Our tours are primarily walking-based. Expect to walk anywhere from 1.5 km to 4 km.
Do you operate on rain days?
Our tours take place rain or shine unless severe weather makes it unsafe to proceed. Please check the forecast and dress appropriately. Winnipeg weather can change quickly, so it’s best to wear layers.
Are there any additional costs to the tour?
Your ticket price includes all items listed on the itinerary. Additional food or beverages, outside of what’s listed in the itinerary, are at your expense.
What is the typical group size?
We specialize in small group experiences. Our walking tours accommodate up to 12 guests. We also offer private tours for a more intimate experience.
Are refunds available for parts of the tour not used?
By purchasing a ticket, you are signing up for the whole tour. If you chose to not join parts of the tour or consume food/beverage, you will not receive a refund.
Are walking tour tickets refundable?
Refunds are only given for cancellations received by email no less than 24 hours prior to the local start time of your tour. You must email info@blacklabtours.com with your booking name and the number of guests in your party that must cancel. The refund will be applied based on the original form of payment.
Cancellations received less than 24 hours to the local start time of your time will not be refunded. Please note that some partners might require more than 24 hours cancellation and we have made note on the individual tour pages as needed.

May – June – snow melt, rain, sunny (all the seasons possible) – average 7-15 Celsius
July - Aug – possible showers, sunny, hotter months (all the seasons possible) – average 11-27 Celsius
September - October – cooler temps, sunny, rain, snow (all the seasons possible) – average 2-16 Celsius
What are private and small group tours?
Private tours are specifically designed for 1-2 clients and are organized based on the clients’ interests and time available for touring. Private small group tours are created for groups that are looking for a custom experience unlike our general tours. We can accommodate larger families, business travel, or even corporate groups!
